This passion was accompanied by a quest that also guided his every step: the quest for light, echoing the Argentina of his childhood, which became the guiding thread of his creations, almost his muse.
To this inexhaustible source of inspiration, he added his passion for the sea, whose strength and beauty gave rise to famous chapters in the history of the House.
His innate sense of aesthetics and his avant-garde vision of ‘jewellery to be lived with’, which he helped to bring into women's everyday lives, enabled the man who, in 1936, christened himself the ‘Modern Jeweller-Designer’ to build a brand that is as timeless as it is atypical. From 1996 to 2012, FRED entrusted designer and creator Yan Sicard, head of the design studio, with the creation of numerous pieces in the fields of jewellery and fine jewellery.
Today, Maison FRED continues to express its unconditional love of light and colour through sun-drenched creations, mastering the art of personalisation and versatility.
